OK, so we won't argue with the quality of current mobile offerings. We use iPhones personally, and the quality of photos and video is amazing. So why is videography different?

Efficient editing. Post production is where the magic really happens. We use colour grading tools, scene transition, sound design and storytelling. We know how to structure your footage to maximise emotional and narrative impact. We use Davinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro.
Creative direction. We'll bring ideas that you would not have considered - shot angles, pacing, tone and storytelling technique. We understand how to engage an audience and tailor content to the platform it'll be presented on.

MUSIC VIDEOGRAPHY

We have a recording studio. It makes complete sense to offer a turnkey package with audio and visuals.

But regardless of what we're shooting, here's an insight into how we produce a music video...

Our music videos are shot in stunning 4K detail.
Listen to the track repeatedly to understand its mood, story, and energy. Brilliant if we've just recorded it here. OR understand the emotion we need to create around the subject.
Choose a concept or theme: narrative (a story), performance-based (band/artist performing), abstract/artsy, or a mix.
Create a visual style: think in terms of colour schemes, location types, lighting styles, and camera movement.
Come up and document a concept.
Make a shot list so that we can shoot efficiently. Including B roll for transitions/atmosphere.
Scout for the most appropriate locations. Including our studio of course.
Choose the most appropriate equipment for the project.
On the day, we'll direct, to make sure the artiste brings energy and emotion, and ensure that the performance is synced to the track.
In post production, we'll edit to the track, using the pace of the song to dictate transitions.
We'll colour grade, giving the finished result a cinematic look and feel.

Along with music, here's something else very close to our hearts. Our pets. We know them and we love them as we have several, including two golden retrievers and a bengal cat. We know how to capture a dog's personality in intimate detail.

And visually, we know what gets our emotions.

So, how do we produce a dog video?

All of our dog/pet videos are shot in stunning 4K detail.
We know what makes our animals tick so we have plenty of tricks up our sleeve to get the best from your fur babies. New toys nearly always get an amazing reaction.
We have some stunning locations to choose from locally to us. Or we can come to you.
We use a combination of cameras, gimbals, tripods and drones to make sure we capture details from the best angles, including the 'dog's eye view'.
If able, we can also secure our GoPro to the dog harness for action shots.
We'll edit using colour grading, slow motion shots and add music to suit the theme
